The Kora is a Manding harp-lute from West Africa, its sound crystalline and fluid, like light unfolding into vibration. Its twenty-one strings trace lines that recall hair: to comb, to braid, to discipline, to let live.
Like hair, it is born of thread and tension, of flow and undulation, an instrument that breathes in the rhythm of gesture.
